Archivist

Among the countless paths an Aetheran may walk, few are held in greater reverence than that of the Archivist.  They are the keepers of knowledge, memory, and experience, devoted custodians of the vast and mysterious halls of the Atheneum Eternal.

Archivists possess an insatiable desire to understand the worlds that came before and the lives that shaped them.  Within the Atheneum Eternal, they safeguard an immeasurable collection of records, memories, and experiences gathered from every corner of existence.  To them, no story is insignificant, for they believe that even the smallest memory can alter the course of eternity.

Their responsibilities extend far beyond the preservation of books and scrolls.  Archivists guide Aetherans seeking answers about forgotten histories, ancient civilizations, and the countless mysteries woven throughout the cosmos.  They meticulously catalog the experiences of newly arrived Novas, preserve the deeds of Guardians and Champions, and ensure that the lessons of both triumph and tragedy are never lost to time.

Patience, wisdom, and objectivity define an Archivist. They  are not warriors like the Champions nor seekers like the Trackers.  Instead, they serve as the steady flame that illuminates the past so that others may better understand the present and prepare for the future.
