Dreamer

The only untouched realm that houses more mystery and intrigue than Aethera is the dream world, carefully navigated by the Aetheran Dreamers.  This soft-spoken, enlightened group of attuned Aetherans helps bridge the gap between the powerful world of dreams and those on Earth whose inspiration is profoundly shaped by them.

Born from the imaginative, compassionate, and introspective lives of humans, Dreamers possess the rare ability to enter and traverse the subconscious minds of mortals.  Through dreams, they may inspire artists, comfort the grieving, spark brilliant ideas, or gently steer humanity away from unseen dangers.  Under certain circumstances, they'll even drive nightmares into the subconscious to forcefully direct a human down a different path.

Unlike Guardians and Champions, Dreamers are forbidden from directly altering the path of mankind without the express permission and consent of a Magistrate.  Their influence is subtle, often leaving behind only fleeting emotions, forgotten faces, or strange visions that linger long after waking.

Though often viewed as gentle and unassuming, Dreamers are among Aethera's most respected citizens, for they alone understand that some of humanity's greatest triumphs are born not from reality, but from the dreams that inspire it.
