Champion

The gates to Aethera are in the powerful, protective hands of the mighty Aetheran Champions.  One of the few Aetherans assigned their role the moment they are born on Aethera, Champions protect the ethereal citizens from the lurking Rogues who seek to enter their celestial world at all costs.

Born from the courageous, selfless, and noble lives of humans on Earth, Champions are gifted with immense size, power, and speed.  They hunt their dangerous, corrupted prey using the same portals Rogues would seek to enter Aethera: mirrors.  Once a Champion has their target in hand, the Rogue has no chance to escape.

For fun, Champions compete in the Gladiatorial Games located in The Halo, Aethera's grand stadium for fun and entertainment.  This celebrated arena doubles as the training grounds Champions frequently use to sharpen their skills.  They hold only allegiance to The Collective, showing little affection for the rest of Aethera.  Their duty to serve is why they were born with golden armor and they never relinquish it.
